Going strong – aroha from NZ Life & Leisure & NZ Lifestyle Block
April 4 2020
Thanks for your many messages of support over the past week. We are really grateful and touched. NZ Life & Leisure and NZ Lifestyle Block and thisNZlife.co.nz are privately owned by me and my business partner Lynley. We are not part of the magazine publisher that you may have heard closed this week. We have a fantastically clever small team and right now we feel very lucky to be an independent NZ publisher and master of our own destiny. In the weeks ahead, we will keep providing beautiful, useful and uplifting stories for you.
Delivery and print
The magazine industry is not deemed an “essential service” so we are unable to print magazines or dispatch orders through the postal system at the moment. When this changes, and we are able to do so again, we will advise you.
Digital and e-editions
The good news is that we are creating digital editions/ebooks of NZ Life & Leisure and NZ Lifestyle Block for you to enjoy in the safety of your home.
To make sure you don’t miss out on our e-editions, sign up here and tell your friends and family to sign up too. We want as many people as possible to enjoy inspiring stories at this time.
Available right now
Look out for our new special edition In Your Backyard: Sustainability Through the Seasons. It was distributed to supermarkets just before the lockdown. It’s perfect pandemic reading, filled with self-sufficiency tips and inspiring stories. Our other issues are still on sale in supermarkets (April NZ Lifestyle Block and March/April (#90) NZ Life & Leisure) though by now stocks might be running low.
We’re proud of how Aotearoa is dealing with this and salute those who are keeping us going. Here’s to all the brave doctors and nurses looking after us, and to the supermarket staff and food providers feeding us.
He waka eke noa (We’re in this together),
