Be in to win a glorious weekend at Rapaura Springs Garden Marlborough, valued at $1600

Be in to win a weekend for two in Marlborough and experience New Zealand’s premier garden event from 4 to 7 November 2021.

It’s been 28 years since a trio of mad keen gardeners dreamt up an event to celebrate their local gardens and bring other garden-crazy folk together. The famed Garden Marlborough, sponsored by wine label Rapaura Springs, includes garden tours, garden-themed workshops and social events.

Also included are full-day and half-day garden tours encompassing everything from compact gardens in the heart of Blenheim to breathtaking country estates. Brush up on horticultural knowledge and skills in workshops and brush up against liked-minded gardeners at the popular Garden Party. This year’s event runs from 4 to 7 November 2021.

Come for the peonies, stay for the party. Rapaura Springs Garden Marlborough tickets go on sale from Monday, 26 July 2021. Visit

The prize includes:

— 2 tickets to an evening with garden designer Suzanne Turley and senior landscape architect Ermanno Cattaneo, Friday 5 November at the ASB Theatre, Blenheim.
— 2 tickets to the Wairau Tour, a full-day garden tour including transport, lunch and refreshments.
— 2 tickets to the 2021 Garden Party, Saturday 6 November. Enjoy great conversations with presenters and supporters, live music, delicious food, world-class Rapaura Springs wine, and a charity auction in the beautiful surrounds of a private garden. Includes return transport to Seymour Square.
— 2 nights accommodation at the Bella Vista Motel. Four-star Qualmark Bella Vista Motel offers superior accommodation and is a short walk from Garden Marlborough HQ.
— 2 days’ use of a car courtesy of McKendry Mazda. Enjoy the use of a Mazda CX-30 during your time at Rapaura Springs Garden Marlborough, and discover the car’s sports responses, agile handling and impressive fuel economy.
— 2 return Air New Zealand airfares to Blenheim from either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

Bordered on one side by the Richmond Ranges and on the other by the Wither Hills, the Wairau plain is the primary grape-growing area of Marlborough. On this tour you’ll see a range of garden styles, including the Hammond Garden and an equally diverse selection of creative and inspiring gardens, often surrounded by vineyards growing Marlborough’s best-known grape varieties.

For many, the annual Garden Party is the absolute highlight of the weekend. It’s always a huge hit, so we strongly recommend that you be there!
