Recipe: Michael Van de Elzen’s Butterbean Hummus

This may be the easiest hummus you’ll ever make.

Prep time: 5 minutes


1 x 400g tin butterbeans, drained
1 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp olive oil
juice of ½ lemon
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp water


Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until smooth. Sprinkle paprika and drizzle olive oil over the top for a pretty garnish.
