What: Fabric-a-brac
When: Select dates from January to October
Where: Locations around New Zealand

New Zealand’s favourite vintage and modern fabric and haberdashery sale is having a bumper year with five new locations.

It’s a market about ‘things to make things’ and the home of all things sewing and textiles. Now in its 15th year, this Hospice fundraiser is being held in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Greytown, Marlborough, Napier, Nelson, Palmerston North, Queenstown and Wellington. You can register a table to sell your stash, or simply dodnate fabric to one of their drop-off points in each location. Or, if you just want to top up your collection, come along to find unusual and bargain fabrics, haberdashery, and more.

At every location, find a pop-up cafe with delicious home-made treats and hot drinks so you can sit with your friends and share your finds.

The event is volunteer-run with free entry (a gold coin koha to Hospice is appreciated). Most stalls tend to be cash-only, so come prepared.
